Security
At Kingston Technology, we want to ensure you that the information you give us
during your transactions is kept safe and confidential.
None of the information that you enter through our web site can be seen by anybody other than
Kingston Technology and yourself. All of the pages in our web site that ask for your personal information
use SEC encryption or Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. These encryption methods scramble your
ordering information so that it can't be read by a third party during transmission. This provides a secure
link between you and our web site. To verify that this secure link is effective on your computer, look
for the "key" or "lock" icon in the bottom of your browser.
"It is much safer to transmit your credit card number over the Internet than
to give it to a waiter at a restaurant or read it aloud over a cordless phone.
David Medine,
Federal Trade Commission,
from a 1996 Washington Post article.

products or services, a cookie helps Kingston remember who you are. Cookies
allow us to recall what items you have in your basket so that you can make
purchases. Although you have complete control of accepting cookies, they are
necessary for you to make purchases through our web site.
